The reality for indie builders

You built the app. Now the closed test is the blocker.

Finding real testers and keeping them engaged isn’t easy. You’re not alone.

Finding real testers turns into scattered DMs.

You end up asking friends, posting in groups, and losing track.

Keeping people opted in is hard to track alone.

Testers forget, drop off, or you’re constantly following up.

Feedback arrives late, vague, or not at all.

You need meaningful feedback, not just install counts.

AppFledge brings that scattered coordination into one community testing workspace.

How it works

One app. A clear next step.

01

Add your Android app

Create your account and add your app with its Play closed-test link.

02

Test one app to get started

Complete the readiness checklist, then test one app from the pool. That activates your Starter Boost and puts your app in front of other developers.

03

Follow the test in one place

Keep testing while testers join yours. Your app stays in the pool as long as you keep contributing.

Simplified examples of the testing workflow.

Give and get

Help another builder
take the next step.

Every developer here also tests. A test takes a few minutes a day for two weeks and keeps the pool moving for everyone, including you.

What is included for free?

During beta, each builder can take one app through a free closed test. Create your account and add your first app to get started.

What do I need before I start?

You can create your account first. To get your app ready, you will need your Android app details and Google Play closed-test setup. The in-app readiness checklist guides you before your app goes live.

How quickly will testers join?

Testers come from other developers in the pool. Apps whose owners are actively testing are matched first. There is no guaranteed number of testers or start date.

Does AppFledge guarantee Google Play approval?

No. The dashboard records community testing activity and self-reported Play opt-ins. Google Play makes its own production-access and approval decisions; completing testing here does not replace that process.

How do credits work?

Credits keep the exchange fair. Testing an app earns them, a tester joining your app uses them, and your app stays in the pool while you have credits or are mid-test. They are not cash and cannot be transferred.

Do I have to test other apps?

Yes, that is the network. Your first app gets a Starter Boost so testing can start before you have earned anything, but staying in the pool needs you to test too.

Can I test more than one of my own apps?

The beta includes one free app per builder. If you need another app tested, the dashboard offers a waitlist for additional apps. Paid plans are not available yet.
